A Brief Introduction of SIF

Shanghai International Industry Fair (SIF for abbreviation) is the only large-scale nationwide fair in China,which is held every November in Shanghai. It focuses on showcasing high-tech industry and modern industrial equipment.

China ------ A Soaring Market

According to the World Bank figures, China is now performing a sustainable annual GDP growth of around 7%, in 2002 China’ GDP exceeded 10 trillion RMB. Also in 2002 China attracted 60 billion USD foreign investments to overrun the United States to rank first in the world. Chinese Government has declared that it will take 20 years to accomplish industrialization and by 2020 its GDP will be redoubled to 40 trillion RMB.
China is seeing another round of economic boom with its entry into WTO, successful bidding for 2008 Olympic Games and World Expo 2010. Chinese economy will become more involved in economic globalization while foreign enterprises are speeding their pace to transfer their manufacturing industry to China. China, a country toward industrialization with a huge market, has become the focus of the world.
