On Aug. 15, 2013, Vice Foreign Minister Li Baodong met with the United Nations Secretary-General's Special Representative for Afghanistan Jan Kubis. Both sides exchanged views on the situation in Afghanistan, the work of the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan, and regional cooperation.
