King Mohammed VI of Morocco Meets with Wang Yi

On December 23, 2013, King Mohammed VI of Morocco met in Rabat with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

Mohammed expressed that Morocco highly values developing relations with China, admires China's achievements and hopes to establish strategic partnership with China at an early date. Morocco is ready to carry out all-dimensional mutually beneficial cooperation with China. More Chinese enterprises are welcomed to invest and develop their business in Morocco, to join in infrastructure construction in Morocco and to conduct cooperation with Africa and Europe by leveraging Morocco's geographical advantages. More Chinese tourists are welcomed to travel to Morocco.

Wang Yi expressed, for the past 55 years since the establishment of diplomatic relationship, China-Morocco relations have always maintained a sound growth momentum. China is ready to unceasingly increase strategic contents of China-Morocco relations. To continue respecting, trusting and supporting each other and to boost coordination and cooperation in international and regional affairs. To discuss formulating measures for deepening bilateral investment cooperation and trade facilitation, to carry out mutually beneficial cooperation in large infrastructure and other fields and to explore people-to-people and cultural, educational as well as tourism exchanges so as to achieve common development and common prosperity.
