In the afternoon of January 2, 2014, Premier Li Keqiang met at Ziguangge of Zhongnanhai with Hor Namhong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia, who came to China attending the First Meeting of Inter-Governmental Coordination Committee between China and Cambodia.

　　Li Keqiang said, China and Cambodia are long-time and mutually-trusted friends. At the beginning of the New Year, the First Meeting of Inter-Governmental Coordination Committee between China and Cambodia was successfully held. It injected new impetus into deepening cooperation between the two countries. The Chinese government has always been pursuing friendly policies towards Cambodia, and supporting the Cambodian government to promote economic development and to play a bigger role in international and regional affairs. We hope that the two countries will well implement the action plan of comprehensive strategic partnership, deepen cooperation in key areas, and make the good bilateral political relations the driving force for promotion of cooperation and to better benefit the two peoples.

　　Li Keqiang said, at present, new changes have occurred to the pattern of international economic development. It brought complex and multiple effects to the emerging market economies. In the past year, China has achieved hard-won smooth running and growth of the economy. We will continue to carry out reform and innovation, to seek steady advance in our economy and achieve fine management of the golden balance point between multiple objectives and policies so as to keep the running of China's economy within the reasonable range of our target. Through comprehensively deepening reform, we will further expand the opening-up, focus on updating and improving efficiency to promote steady and long-term development of the Chinese economy, and to make our own contribution to the recovery of the world economy.

　　Hor Namhong expressed that China's development brings prosperity to itself, as well as the important significance to regional peace and development. Cambodia thanked China for long-time selfless help and strong support. The First Meeting of Inter-Governmental Coordination Committee between China and Cambodia has yielded fruitful results. The Cambodian government highly values the relations with China and is ready to work closely with China to well implement the outcomes of the Meeting and to promote for new development of the bilateral friendship.

　　Yang Jiechi, State Councilor and Chairman representing the Chinese side in the Inter-Governmental Coordination Committee, was present at the meeting.
