On January 17, 2014, State Councilor Yang Jiechi met in Beijing with visiting Foreign Minister Luvsanvandan Bold of Mongolia.

　　Yang Jiechi said, China and Mongolia now enjoy smooth development of the strategic partnership. Both sides should take the opportunity of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relationship and the 20th anniversary of China-Mongolia Friendship and Cooperation Treaty, to unceasingly deepen political mutual trust, to further strengthen exchanges in all fields, to substantially promote practical cooperation in economy and trade on the basis of mutual benefits and win-win results, and to do a good job in commemorative activities celebrating China-Mongolia Friendly Exchange Year, and to promote the bilateral relations for greater development in the New Year and continue to step forward to new highs.

　　Luvsanvandan Bold said that Mongolia attaches great importance to the development of the friendly relations between Mongolia and China, and is willing to strengthen practical cooperation with China in all fields to realize common development.
