On November 5, 2013, Huang Ping, Director-General of the Department of Consular Affairs of the Foreign Ministry and Francois Saint Paul, Director of the Directorate for French Nationals Abroad and Consular Administration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France held a China-France consular meeting in Beijing. The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on issues including developing the China-France consular relations and cooperation, safeguarding the legitimate rights of the citizens of both sides and facilitating personnel exchanges.
