On December 10, 2013, Director-General of the Department of Consular Affairs of the Chinese Foreign Ministry Huang Ping held a consular meeting with Director of Consular Services of the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office Charles Hay in Beijing. The two sides had in-depth exchanges of views on issues such as implementing consular cooperation and the negotiation on signing the bilateral consular treaty.
