On November 6, 2013, the 7th Annual Exchange for Hong Kong-related Consular Work was held in Beijing. The Foreign Ministry's working group led by Huang Ping, Director-General of the Department of Consular Affairs, and the working group of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) led by Eric Chan Kwok-ki, Director of the Immigration Department, exchanged views on this year's work concerning consular protection for Hong Kong residents, the issuing of Hong Kong visa, and the facilitation of travel convenience for Hong Kong residents.
